Since 2009, i've make my first Dollar from the internet, and today i'm going to list for you some of the most trusted freelacing websites i used to work on.
1: UpWork ( the old name : oDesk)
How to get started:
All you need to get started is a computer, Internet connection and amazing skills. Your next step is creating an outstanding freelancer profile to showcase your business. Think of it as an introduction, resume, and personal marketing brochure rolled into one, highlighting your:
- Professional skills, experience, and portfolio
- Education and accomplishments
- Upwork skills test results
The best profiles are complete, well-written, error-free, and feature a professional, friendly looking picture.
2: Freelancer:
3: Fiverr:
Fiverr.com is my favourit business website of freelancing.
There are probably 1000 gigs on Fiverr that offer to translate a page of text to English, or offering Englishlessons via Skype. A large majority of these sellers are probably offering 2 or 3 more zero-skill gigs, but what is most significant is that these sellers are making no money. If you want to make money on Fiverr, you must think about things that are unique to you. Think about something that you are truly good at, something that is unique to you, and apply that thing to your gigs.
4: eLance:
